Lincoln was expected to move to Newport News shipyard next week to begin the overhaul. Apr 28, 2012 - 3:32 PM - by EM1(Ret) John Cady
It's been quite a few years since I retired, but I was reading about the recent Enlisted Review Board, which according to jettisoned a lot of sailors into the civilian world, often by surprise.

Is this going to be an ongoing thing? My concern is that with all the cuts and involuntary separations, we will end up with the following:

- Hollow force

- Lower recruiting due to the perception the military is laying people off too

- Adding thousands to the unemployment rolls when there are already millions of Americans looking for work.

I am looking forward to a discussion on this.
