I talked with a recruiter today and she told me that bootcamp is co-ed. Is that true? Just how much is co-ed in the training (showers, pt, sleeping, eating)? I would like to know. Thanks!

Hey there and welcome!

Boot camp is co-ed, but of course there are TONS of rules because you are co-ed. Some divisions are all male, but some are mixed. You'll sleep in a compartment with the females in your division and females in your brother division. The males more than likely will be across the hall from you. You won't shower with them, or anything like that. But you will shower with the other females...just a heads up. I hated that part. You'll work out and go to class and things like that with the males, go to chow. But nothing uncomfortable for you. Like I said, there are tons of rules. A friend of mine went to Captain's Mast (bad thing, you dont want to go) in boot camp just because people THOUGHT her and another guy were flirting. It's all about perception.

If you have any other questions, just let us know!
