Ok....I tried to email the recipe to Debbie but for some reason it did not go thru...so for all that are interested here it is. I had never heard of it until we moved to Texas but it is wonderful stuff.....this make about a 5 quart casserole dish full.

Ingredients
2 whole Chicken
2 each Onions
2 each Green peppers
12 oz Sugar bustes spaghetti
2 cans Rotel Tomatoes
2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
2 4 oz Pimentos, chopped
1 lb Velveta, cubed
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 4 oz cans Canned Mushrooms

Preparation
Cook chicken, keep broth, debone chicken when cool.
Cook onion, celery and green peper in broth in saucepan until tender. Add spaghetti. Cool until tender and drain.
Add chicken, tomatoes, soups, pimentos, mushrooms and velveeta cheese; mix well. When velveeta is melted place in casserole dish, top with shredded cheese.
Cook at 350 for 30 minutes

Your wicked future-mother-in-law.

They just said on the local news that the Kittyhawk will be here soon.
I may just have to come down that way and see it pull it.
Especially seeing as I couldn't be here when my daughter pulled in on the Nimitz back in June. It would be cool to see seeing as my bestfriends husband from when I was in the navy used to be on the Kittyhawk.

I will do the best I can. Kristie if you would like me to do this please PM so I can get the details from you that I will need.

Kristie
08-07-2008, 06:52 PM
Vera....it would be wonderful if you would do that so that she will have a hug from all of us.....trying not to cry here....

Jennifer will have to be the one to tell you what you will need. I know that when Brandon came home from he had to give them our names so that we were on the list at the entrance gate.

I will send Jennifer an email and get her to contact you when she finds out what you guys will need to do.....

You are wonderful!

I am so freaking bumbed out right now. I didn't realize that the Kittyhawk was pulling in today. I'm going to PM Jennifer and I hope we can do lunch or something while she is here.

Kristie I wasn't sure if you had the stuff from the ombudsman or not but it doesn't matter now.

Oh well nothing I can do about it but still try and get together with her if she has the time.

My Sailor, Meridith, will be home today, for 11 days! I'll be waiting for her call in the cell phone lot -- getting through security to meet her at the gate is more than I can deal with -- (recent knee replacement surgery) -- not quite up to the walking or the explaining that it's my knee causing the detector to go off! LOL!! WE Are VERY excited!! It even looks like the weather in St.Louis is going to cooperate! Yeah!!

Have fun and enjoy.......

I know what you mean about the detector.... I had a hip replacement last summer (rt) and )lft) one done 14 years ago.... When we went through security last summer they pulled me to the side behind a glass shield, made me - arms up and out and legs spread, shoes off and patted me down from one end to the other..... LOL...... My sailor said I am never allowed to go through with him again.... LOL.... I geuss they thought I was packing a pair of six shooters.... LOL...

My boyfriend should be coming home here in a few weeks. I'm just waiting for him to let me know exactly when. He said recently that he should have 2 weeks free when he leaves FL before he has to go on to VA. I'm just hoping he gets back before I have to go home. (Right now I'm in college and only about an hour from his home. Once I go home for the summer, in 20 days, I'll be more than 3 hours from his home. That's not a very quick commute for a visit from him.)

Where in VA is he heading to?

Um, good question. I can't recall. Sorry. If we get talking about it again soon, I'll ask. We don't typically like talking about where he's going next, but rather what all's going on now. And with everything that's been going on with college and some health issues that I've been having and issues with my family, I'm amazed I can even remember my name half the time.

I hear you about a lot of things going on, trust me! I'm just asking as I'm in VaBeach.....plus, there's a mini-muster planned for mid-May in this area (Norfolk to be exact) and if he's here by then maybe he'd like to join us. Tell him to check out the thread re the mini-muster, okay?

My sailor came in yesterday, and surprised me. He had contacted all my friends and told them not to tell me, and got them to keep me away from the parking lot for a while so that he could pull in without me seeing him. So, I was in my best friend's room when he got here and we headed down to the dorm porch to supposedly meet with her bf. I was kinda confused when she decided to fix my hair. But when I opened the front door and saw him standing there across the parking lot, with a rose, I screamed and took off toward him. It was soooo good seeing him again. I didn't want to let go of him, when we hugged, but the Bible college I attend doesn't approve of physical contact, so I had to. (We did go off campus for a little while, and I was practically glued to him then.) We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening together, and just about every person we talked to looked at me and smiled, and told me they knew he was coming. *Thanks, people.* lol It was sad when he said he had to leave and go home, cause he had to run to the store for his mom, before they closed. But he said he'd be back early next week. (Today we're both going to lounge around our rooms and sleep and rest, cause we're tired! lol And tomorrow he's going to his home church, cause they haven't seen him since December either. I miss him a lot this morning, but I'll live for a few days.:smile: :laugh:
I'll post a couple pics in a little bit. I only got one good one of the two of us, and I have a few of the rose he got me.
