Just wanted to share with all of you that my sailor, Meridith, was selected as Junior Sailor of the 1st Quarter. She is at Miramar Air Base, (Marine) in San Diego. We are all very proud of her.

FANTASTIC !!! Not an easy task to accomplish ... requires going the extra mile to be the best.

Now she's in the running for Sailor Of the Year (SOY) .... there is an automatic advancement opportunity with that one !!!

Cheers,
PISTOL

my chain of command was going to put me up for JSOQ (junior sailor of the quarter) but I was four days short for time being here! oh well, maybe next time!
