In less then 12 hours i get to hug my Sailor. Not sure if we will be allowed to the gate becaue he is getting in so late and don't know if there will be a gate agent but i will try my hardest.
Matt gets to come home for 11 days go back to FL for a bit then come home again Aug 1 for 18 days.
He has new orders and is changing duty stations. He is going real far (ha he )is going across the bridge from Jax to Mayport. becasue he is changing duty stations he get another 30 days leave. This will be the most i will see him in 8 yrs.

Hi Debbie!!! Congratulations - tell Matt if he needs a Navy Mom when you are not available - I am only about a 2 hr drive away or if gets leave and comes down by the Disney area - he has a Navy Mom here for him. I know Alyssa is suppose to be home on leave July 3 - I have not seen here since March 30, 2007 - She is only leave for 18 days flying home from Italy. Then in September I am going to see her - I cannot wait!!!

Well it is awesome having Matt home.
We really havne't done much of nothing. he really doesnt want too. He likes coming home and forget the navy exists and all his responsiblities.
Sat was spent at the American League picnic here in town. Matt is a charter member of it. The welcomed him home with beer bottles held high.
He goes to his dad's later in the week and they are going fishing.

i can't beleive how fast the past 11 days have gone. We take Matt to the airport in about 3 hours. I am ok with him leaving cause this time i see him in a month again.
We really didnt do much while he was home as he wanted to be a bum and relax, eat, and sleep

Sun Amy(ILNavymom) and her family stopped by on the way home from seeing her Sailor. We had a nice visit

There is nothing wrong with not doing much. May be the next time you see him he will be more rested from his cruise and you will do more stuff.
Thats Great that Amy and the family were able to stop by and see you all.
