Okay so what happens if your 1 lb or 2 over the weight standards before you leave for boot camp and more than likely unable to pass the measuring tape. Is there any way that you wouldn't be able to go?

If you are over and do not pass the measuring test, you will not be permitted to ship out.

That's correct ... gotta make the tape. 1-2 lbs is not a hard thing to lose ... just need to work out & sweat it off !!! Talk to the recruiter about how to make that happen.

dont do any of the little tricks the recruiters might try and get you to do...they're not healty! and no, if you are over they usually wont send you. i know that there is some program that does allow heavier people to go to boot camp and every week they are weighed in and taped, it's called healthy start or something, you dont want to do that though, you'll have enough stress on you in boot camp.
