That week, I believe that graduation should be on Thursday the 3rd.

Yes i can deal with thur graduation it will be if we have to wait another whole week that would be terrible and I have to agree with navymomX2 that it would be a wonderful weekend for celebrating the 4th with a new sailor in tow.....haha

Well ladies and gentlemen I found out Phillip's PIR will be July 3rd on thurs and the base is having a big event on fri with a guest singer . Night Ranger! Fireworks and everything ... I can't wait.... Phillip wrote and said he is doing great ... he had to have 8 shots and 4 wisdom teeth out and 3 fillings WOW and he is in division 933 ship 6

Oh that is wonderful news. I bet you are so excited.
I'm jealous I would love to see Night Ranger.
The shots and dental work are normal. Did you find out what he is doing in the performace div.

Oh and we have missed you in the chat room. I know it's been kind of quiet but if you have a set time that you can chat just message me and I will try and be online.

thanks so much vera ..... I have been so very busy and my mom had surgery on her shoulder last thurs and doing good but had to help her out and also i have physical therapy 3 days a week but i will try ot get into the chat room tonight sometime....

Ladie I know it is coming I got a couple of boxes of kleenex for my pocket and i will have everyone of them stuffed........LOL got a letter today and he is getting home sick... aw my baby!!! his b day is tues he will be 21

Home sickness is very normal. If you haven't already send him some pictures of the family. Especially ones that will make him laugh.
Also i'm sure you sent him a B-day card. You can have a B-day party with cake and all during the weekend that you are there.

Remember be very encouraging. Once they get doing more of the hands on stuff in a few weeks his letters will probably pick up.

yea the letter i got today said he is starting to get homesick.... and i found out he is on the drill team ... whatever that consist of...lol
