WOW and I thought the ice storm we had a couple years back was bad..........Sheesh, we had nothing compared to these people!!!! WOW........We were without power for 11 days...........I wonder how long it will take for all these people to get their power back!

Ray.....I used to live in Raleigh NC and I remember some really bad ones.....

They are telling us we may have some sleet here in southeast Texas on Monday....

Wow NCMEDIC, I'm stoked on your photos. I haven't seen anything like this since I was a little kid living in Massachusetts and Virginia. Dad was stationed in both states. I remember one time our family was driving down an icy road and we did a 360. I think we even had chains on. But anyway the attached photo is like your road trip, but at sea. Glad I wasn't at either.

That pics reminds me of when we were in the Black Sea in January/February 1988! Not as bad iced over, but we were pretty icy! Watch standers were not allowed outside of the ship unless they received permission from the OOD for fear of slipping and going over the side. If permission was given only if with a buddy system and tethered.

This coming week we aren't suppose to get out of the 70's all week. Finally cooling down up here!
