Photo's

There was a bit of confusion about the photo albums so I will try to explain....

In the upper right side of the navagation bar there is a link called "Photo Albums", that is the link you use to create your own albums...upload pictures...etc...

On the oposite side of that same bar on the left.....there is one with a spinning star that says "Navy Photos". That is the were we all get to enjoy each others pictures....just find the username of the person you want and click on it and there you have pictures.....

Or in the forum posts this is what shows to the left of your post....

You can always click on the * My Photo Gallery * (http://www.thenavycafe.com/forum/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=12&thumb=1) to view that persons pictures.....

I must be dense. that just takes me to the regular photo gallery and not the photo album. Denmom has pics in her album that is not in her gallery, and I still can't get to them

I guess I need to know from Vera what pictures she put in there.....so I can try to figure this out....actually it does not show any albums for any users....

I may be the one that's the dummy and I may just not be doing it right. LOL

I really hope you can help as it was so much easier to post the pics under the photo album button than under the navy photos.

When I click your link I can see your pictures but the album is not show up anywhere....

Ok....all changes have been made. The newer version of vB has a built in photo gallery and we will use it from now on. I have added a icon in the profile http://www.thenavycafe.com/forum/images/buttons/add_album.png that will link to a members album.

Ok....great....I like the idea of albums only....but I know that this question is going to come up....since we are no longer gong to use this gallery and there is no longer a link to it...http://www.thenavycafe.com/forum/photopost/ and that is where most of everyone's pictures are....how can they move them or is that something you or I will have to do....????

I am will to work on it if we have to do it...may take some time but am willing....just let me know as I know this will come up.....

Also I am not seeing the http://www.thenavycafe.com/forum/images/buttons/add_album.png in the profile....or am I just tired and blind?

Ok....I see it on the right of a post but not in the profile itself....I see it today along with a totally different look to the forum...or is it just me....????

This may have already been asked but are all the old photos other than the album ones gone? I have my 15 pics from easter on here but can't seem to find the other pics I had posted that were under the old heading navy photos.

The new format looks great i'm still figuring it out but I like it so far.......

They are still there I am just trying to figure out how to move them to the albums....I am sure that there is a simple way and waiting for an answer from Ray before I go poking around....lol....

I know of no way of moving them besides the members themselves copying and saving the photos. I sent out a mass email for everyone to do it ASAP. I will still looks and see if we can do it for them but I don't see a way as of now.

And yes I updated the site a little ...maybe another one in a few days to stay on top of things. ;)

Also I don't think I got the e-mail but I will check my settings to make sure that I have that set right. It's no big deal about the other photos as I don't even remember what I had on there. but i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong that I can't find them.

Vera.....click this link and it will take you to all the other pictures....then just save them to your computer and then upload to your album this time....let me know if that does not help you....

Ok I don't know what i'm doing wrong this time. I was able to upload one album of pictures but was limited on how many I could have in it.
So I figured I would just put my pics in multiple albums.
Well the problem i'm have is it is letting me add the album but not add pictures in the album. These are more pics of our day with Jen.
she isn't in many of the photos but there are some great pics of the animals at sea world.
