I have seen a semilar experiment, that I think was better. Spiders were given LSD, Methamphetimine and a few other drugs.

Each spider built a web, and all the webs were compared to a control web. The Web from the spider on LSD was very intricate and patterned, the rest were just inefective blobs. But the LSD web compared nicely to the sober one.
