On The Road

Haven't posted much lately, been so busy between two jobs and these last few weeks getting ready to fly out to Pensacola to bring my son home. Yea! Flying out tonight, loading up his stuff and jeep tomorrow and hitting the road for California on Sunday. A nice long road trip just the two of us as dad has to be boss at work. Looking so forward to having my son home again. He will be doing his reserve duty up at Point Mugu, which I am very happy about. See you all in a week.

Well we made it home safe and sound. We got delayed two days so didn't get going until Tuesday around noon and managed to cross the country by Friday night. Last week I was so busy getting ready for Thanksgiving and trying to make room for all our Sailor's stuff. I also tagged along with him when he checked in to his reserve unit at Point Mugu/Port Hueneme and checked out their NEX. Very nice. It is weird as it seems as if he never left. I am so thankful for having him home again.
