We're baaaaccck! I think I brought back some ricky crud with me...sick as a dog.
The weekend was wonderful, weather was great and Kylie was still extremly exhausted. Friday we went to the mall in Gurnee Mills and we bought her a watch, had lunch and dinner out and then back to the hotel where she took a long hot bubble bath and washed her hair with "good shampoo". She had extended liberty (didn't have to be back to the ship until 22:30) which they got for making Hall of Fame, just two divisions out of 7.
Saturday we picked her up and went into Chicago and spent most of the day at the Navy Pier and then she just wanted to go hang out at the hotel, watch a movie and sleep. We order pizza in that night and it felt like we were at home with her. She of course called friends and family to let them know that she had graduated. Her funniest call was to her brother Casey who is in MD awaiting the start of A school. She called hiim to inform him that she "outranked him". That she is "an E-3 while he is an E-nothing". LOL They had a nice long talk.
I've put some pictures up - and if you want to see more, just let me know - I don't want to bore you to tears with them.
Glad to be on the "other side."
