Son in Ship 14 Div 069 - PIR 2/2/07

Hi all,
Just wanted to say hello from Houston, Texas. My son is currently at GL in Ship 14 Div 069 and will graduate 2/2/07. Anyone else out there with a recruit in this division?

Hi Melanie,

My son has already graduated BC, but I wanted to say Hi and Welcome to the site! It is definitely a roller coaster ride! My son graduated in March from BC and June from his A school. He is now out in Coronado undergoing the SEALs BUD/s Training.

Welcome and know that we are here for you whether it be fun or sad! Feel free to lean on us!

Have you heard from him yet?

Yes, we have heard from him. He arrived at GL on 12/06/06, we got our first letters on 12/19 -- it was a great Christmas present for me! We then got more letters the next week and actually got a phone call on 12/29 at about 3:15 pm. I'm so glad that we were all at home so that we could talk to him. Looking forward to more letters, and then of course, graduation.
