He ships out July 07.

I talked to my recruiter today, and he has a book in his desk waitin for me!!! So needless to say, I'm goin to get it today..

Hey Kristie, do they have monthly dep meetings?
My son Pengilum goes at least once a month, and they quiz them and make them study. They also have PT at their meetings.
They actually have 2 meetings a month but are only required to attend one a month.

I'm Kristie's daughter...We only have DEP meetings once a month, and they don't make us take tests or do PT. I wish they did though!! It would help a whole lot. I signed papers in October, and I just got my DEP book yesterday. I leave in March!!! Hmm...I feel really behind now!!!

My son signed up in November and doesn't go till July 07. He graduates HS in June. His recruiter makes him report in every monday to let him know how things are going.
Just study hard and start doing those push ups and running now.

I want to be quizzed!!! Bring it on!!! Really, cause I want to be so ready when I leave in March.

I have to call my recruiter every Monday, but we don't have to PT or do tests, which I WISH they would make us do. I'm workin on the athletic part...I'm doin a little better than I thought!! But I know I'll be fine when the time gets here.

There are A LOT of kids that are still in HS that are at our DEP meetings..makes me feel kinda old!! But I'm glad, cause I'll be in BC during the middle of the school year, lol. HOPEFULLY that will keep me from havin to do a whole lot of IT......:p
My brother went right out of HS, and he said they did the most IT out of everyone because everyone talked....I'd be so mad!

Did your recruiter tell you about the web site you can go to to get signed off on some of the stuff. My son's didn't until he was almost ready to leave for boot but he did get quite a few done.
