View Full Version : Div 315 Ship 9 - Finally a Letter

Well I finally got my letter YAY...He is doing good, said that he is in a mixed division. 44 women and 44 men, said that the only thing that was bad is he has 6 RDC's. But he said that it was all good...he made Yeoman so he has gotten to know the RDC's on a personal level. He is having fun and said bootcamp is not that hard. Can't wait to get out of there and get to work. Haha, wish he did that at home!:shocked:
Anyway I feel much better just hearing from him. I was a basket case yesterday after I read his letter, not sure if it was relief or what. This is my first one out of the nest and it is really hitting me hard. Anyway now I will look forward to Thursdays...maybe a call will be next.:smile:

Glad that you got a letter Sue....Jennifer was also in a mixed division with 6 RDCs......she said it was not fun having that many.....lol

Whoo hoo Sue - Congrats on the letter. I became good friends with the mail guy on Thursdays. Hopefully next Thursday I might get something? I think it is too soon, but I can always hope.

yeahhhhhhhhhh..havin 6 RDCs sucks A LOT, but after you get to a certain point in boot, they start to get really cool...and most of the time, your RDCs hate your bro div's RDCs..or that's how mine were, lol! but, they had reasons to......lol. They were newer and didn't know a lot of the rules and stuff...like how to stamp clothes, I know it sounds stupid, but they have to be a certain way for your "static" inspection...which is a BIG thing, your son will probably mention it...if your uniforms and such aren't stamped correctly, you'll get points taken off..all of my white button up shirts have double stamps because one of our bro div's RDCs didn't read the rules correctly.....and now the females in my div and my bro division's shirts look retarded!!! and our bro div's RDC's IT'd us a lot more too......
