2442.43 Miles from home and sick

Well here I am on another roller coaster ride. My son called yesterday and is really sick. He is running a high fever and has tonsilitis. They have him on a lot of drugs and he goes back to the doctor on Thursday to determine if his tonsils will have to come out.

This is a first for me - I've never had a kid so sick and so far away from home at the same time. I so wish I could be there to take care of him...I guess those feelings will never go away, no matter how old they are, or how far away and grown up they are.

Beckie.....no those feelings never go away.....Brandon told me that the 3 days before he ran battlestations he was running a 102 fever and was not even sure he was going to be able to make it.....it is a very helpless feeling i know.....

Becky, I'm so sorry about your son. I feel for you so much. I just went through it with Matt and Lyme disease. I will pray everything works out. With God all things are possible.

My son had his tonsils out in Dec. and he bounced back pretty quick
but he was at home.
Hang in there , They will take good care of him !
