Fast trip to FL Again!!

Well....please keep us in your prayers....we will leave in the very early hours of Friday morning to drive to FL to pick up Jennifer and bring her home for leave before she reports to Japan....

We will also be meeting the XO of Corry Station who just happens to have been my senior high school class president.....lol....small world......so I was told by him that I better bring the family by to meet him before we leave....

We wil be coming back home that same day so it will be a really really long day....please pray for my poor tired dear sweet husband who will be driving....

Wow.....what a long day it was.....lololol.....very wore out...We left home at 5:00 am Friday morning and got home at 11:30 pm that night.....had a great time on base getting her checked out...going here and there and everywhere....lol....

The funniest part was when we went to "The Quarterdeck" of the base to do the final stamp of her leave papers and when they guy was done he said....Do you need anything else? and Jennifer says Yes we are supposed to see the XO....the guys looked at her kinda funny and she said that he told her that he wanted to see her mom before they left....lol....the guy said hang on and called up to the secretary and told them that I was there to see the XO and he hung up the phone with a shocked look on his face and said you can go right up......lol...the looks on their faces was priceless!

We get upstairs and the secretary says....He has been expecting you....lol....and when he came out the CO was coming back to his office so we were all standing around talking.....and dummy me did not even thing to take the camera in with me to get pictures.....

The XO had brought our high school annual for me to look thru as I had told him in an email that mine was lost....it was cool showing my kids pictures of me from high school....he even make copies of some of the pages I wanted....that was so nice.....

It is very nice to have her home....she looked so nice in her dress uniform this morning at Church....everyone was so glad to see her.....

Do not want to take a trip like that anytime soon.....lol....

Well how cool! Corey just left tonight going back to his ship...he is leaving for how knows how long this time.
