3 Count Them - 3 Phone Calls Today!

Oh I'm a very lucky Mom today.
First phone call went something like this:

Hi Mom (in a meek little voice) (my daughter Kylie)
Where are you baby girl?
In Chicago, at the airport, at the USO holding place
Are you okay?
No, I'm really scared Mom....

So of course I encouraged her and let her know how proud we all are of her and by the end of the conversation she was telling me about a cute guy that she sat next to on the plane and that he too will be going to San Antonio to A School.

Call #2
Hi Mom (in a strong, confident voice) (my son Casey)
Hi kiddo, how are you?
I'm Fantastic!
Where are you?
Still in Great Lakes, but I got my orders - I ship out Saturday morning.

Whooo Hooooo finally.

Call #3
Hi Mom, it's me, I'm here, I love you, I'll call you in 2 weeks, is Casey still here? (my daughter again)

Yes, he said he might get to see you tomorrow, smile or nod, but don't talk to him - work hard we love you.

Okay, gotta go, love you.

What an awesome way to end the day.
