My son in ship 11 division 311, but his PIR is 9/14/07. They will all be going thru the same things at the same time.
We will have to get together the night before PIR

Hi, that sounds like fun. We finally received the form letter and Seth made a note that as on Wed, 7/25 he still hadn't started boot camp. Can this really be possible. He has been there 2 weeks this Friday. So, will this put off his PIR date that Great Lakes gave me? I think what is the worst is not knowing what is going on. I still can't keep tears in...everytime I turn around I am crying again. I pray we will receive a letter this week. I will be looking on Thursday as this is when everyone else seems to receive mail. By the way I want to thank everyone for their support. This is totally awesome to have support from so many that I don't even know. All I can say is WOW!!

My daughter arrived at Great Lakes on 6/12, and her division was on P-hold until June 24th and technically started bootcamp on June 25th. Her PIR date stayed the same. She explained that until they had a full division they couldn't start their in-processing, so that was the delay.

It is definitely an emotional time while they are there, but come here and share your good times and bad times and we'll help you get through all of the times!!

Your recruit will do just fine.
