Boy Kristie - I'm telling you, he better of had duty...or man is he gonna get a piece of his mother's mind. I waited all day yesterday! My heart sunk when I found out that others had gotten calls and I hadn't. I even called RTC to make sure he was still there - I'm sure the gal on the phone thought OMG what a worrysome mother! She assured me that he was scheduled to graduate on Friday and that she was glad to help - she even tried to find that division - but she said they must be practicing for PIR - I don't know if they really were but I know she was trying to make me feel better.

Hi Beckie,
I know how you feel. My son Jonathon called his Dad at work instead of calling me after Battlestations. It was the first call my husband received from him. Like you, I had kept the phone clear for two days and then my husband asked me if I'd heard from Jon. I almost cried but when he said that he'd called him, it was a great relief to know that he'd earned his cap. He did call me twice the next day so it worked itself out. I had even called his recruiter to see if he knew anything. I should've just called my husband - he had more information then they did.

Sorry you didn't get the call Becky. But you know how boy's are.
Mine leaves in one hour, and I would bet money I won't get any calls, and will be lucky to get a letter. That's why I have questionairs already ready to send. LOL . . . .

They will be in Dress Whites.....so handsome.....
You can get a DVD of the graduation....he had the option of getting it with his pictures....but you can ask someone at graduation...they may have the info....

Odds are pretty slim....I have not heard of anyone getting to come home after BC.....there are guys waiting for their A school to start and have been on hold for 5 months waiting.....
He should get leave after he completes A school....where will he be going for school?

That is wonderful.....the greatest news about him having A school at GL is that the chances of you haing him the entire weekend with you is very high....we had Brandon all weekend as his A school was in GL but Jennifers was in Pensacola so we could only have her during the day.....
Have a wonderful time with your "Sailor"
