I got a letter from Casey yesterday and he asked me to tell all the moms and Jennifer thank you for the cards and letters - he wishes he had time to write back to say thank you but thought you would all understand.

Just 7 more days! I'm so excited I can't stand it.

Not yet, but we are going shopping tonight to get Casey a pair of sweat pants or the like so he can have something to change into at the hotel. All of his stuff is packed away and at a friend's house (he was living with him before he shipped out) and the friend is out of town for two weeks, so he gets something new. Sounds like a good excuse to go shopping. :)

Beckie, Have fun at PIR. I know that I did. That is such a special time. BC seemed like the longest 8 weeks of my life. While all our friends, neighbors and church family said " Wow has it been 8 weeks already?" I said yeah "Are you kidding?" Anyway, have a blast.

Kristie, I see that you have 2 in the Navy. I guess bc was just as hard the second time around for you? Wow 2 times within 1 year.
I have a 15 year old son that wants to join after he graduates hs. He is going to take NJROTC in hs for the next 3 years. I think this will give him some idea of what to expect and if this is what he wants to do.

Talk to you again, Julie;) ;)
