Yes, can you believe it - just 8 more days! I'm so excited. Kristie - did you get a phone call after battle stations? I keep hereing that we should get a call. Also, when did you get the pictures? Casey mentioned in a letter that we would be getting them this week, but I don't know if he will be getting them or if we will get them in the mail. Can you clear this up for me? Thanks.

yes, you will get the phone call right after Battlestations, and you will have the biggest sigh of relief!......not to mention how proud your sailor will be.....the pictures can be mailed to your home or your son will give them to you at graduation.

I got phone calls after battlestations.....some do not get to call if they have duty.....best calls I ever got...lol....

Just think a week from today you will have your Sailor in your arms.....wooohooo

you asked when you might get the call for Battlestations....my son had Battlestations on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning of the same week he graduated....he graduated that same Friday.....Battlestations is about a 15 hour ordeal......We flew into Chicago Wednesday afternoon and our plane landed at 2pm......as the plane landed, I turned on my phone and not 5 minutes later as we were still taxing to the terminal.......my son called to say they passed Battlestations!!!!.....they will have a brunch waiting for them and I do know that they CANNOT fall asleep until that night....this is my personal experience with Battlestations....Lynette

Thanks Lynette - It is my understanding from another mom that has a son in the same ship/div as mine, that right now as I type that they are doing battle stations. I hope that is right and I will get a call tomorrow morning sometime. I can't wait!
