Daughter stationed with the Marines in San Diego

Anyone else have anyone at Miramar? Daughter has been attached to a Marine battalion. She feels kind of lost without the support system == not a marine, but not with sailors. Not with females. She's feeling kind of vulnerable. All 5 feet of her! LOL -- Really if there is anyone on the list from the San Diego area that could or would make some contact with her, if nothing more than to help her hem her pants, or show her where a discount store is, she is only 20 and won't admit to anyone that she is more than a little overwhelmed . I live near Scott Air Force Base, but I doubt that helps anyone on this list but I am willing to "adopt"!!
