New Plates for my Truck

Hmmm I don't understand why they would disown you - I am a proud Navy Mom and not afraid to tell the entire world - your son/daughter will be out doing their thing in the Navy - you would think they would welcome the show of support from their parents - no matter how it is done. My daughter was thrilled with the new plates. My son thought they were cool as well, even though he has not seen them as of yet.

He didn't even want me putting anything related to what sports he played either like the other parents did. Around here alot of the moms have window clings with their childs sports and #. He told me no on that one too. LOL
It's just him. He didn't want a school jacket either.

That is really a good idea!!! Never thought of it or would have done it.

If they disowned me - so be it. My kids said they didn't like it when I would put the stickers on my car for the sport they played or the awards they won - but they would laugh and say "that's mom". I think down deep they were glad that I was so proud of them and wanted to world to know it.

I do think no matter what age you are, you want your parent's approval. What a great way to show your support!!!!!
