I'm glad to have found this site! It's always great to meet new Navy families! I am a Navy Wife currently living in central/upstate NY, and my husband is at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, waiting to class up for his A school (MA). I just returned from a 2 day visit with him, so I'm a little bummed, but hopefully soon we'll be heading for our first duty assignment together. I look forward to talking and getting to know all of you! Happy New Year!

Your husband will enjoy the A school. My son is a MA stationed in Kings Bay, GA. He was in San Antonio for his A school too.

He said the A school was challenging but fun. He is interested in a Criminal Justice degree and felt that he learned so much while in A school.

The waiting to be classed up was, according to him, "a drag". He said they cleaned and then cleaned again - but once classes started, the time flew.
