Well, tommorrow is the big day - my son leaves for boot camp.
The last couple months have been a roller coaster for us with him. He hit his 'rebellious stage', just 5 weeks ago and decided to live with friends until he shipped out. This was hard on his old mom - I thought I had those weeks to spend with him and they were yanked out from under me. He decided he didn't want to have a going away party either. We are having a small dinner party for him tonight (he thinks he is just coming for dinner with the immediate family) SUPRISE!
We've talked recently and he is very anxious to go. He told me yesterday that he is "so ready" which makes me feel good.
I'm so proud of his decision to join, I truely think this is an awesome path for him. I can't wait to see him at PIR and see the changes.
