Ray....I hope it is ok that I posted this one as it hits really close to home for fellow cafe members. This helicopter is the one that Debbie "Matts Mom" son is with.....we all need to be in prayer for these families and also the shipmates of the crew that was lost and especially our own Debbie and her son Matt as he is there dealing with the grief.........here is Debbie's post from another site....
"I am writing this as i am a bit shaken up. Matt just called and his first words were Mom i am ok. The helo that crashed is part of the squadron HS-7 Dusty Dogs stationed in NAS JAX.
Matt has been part of this sqaudron for the past 5 yrs. He couldn't tell me much just that everyone is together and they didnt get much sleep last night. A little what he said they lost 5 guys.
He sounded so lost, upset tired. I was at school when i got the phone call and just lost it.
Please Pray for the families of the Sailors that lost their lives plus also for the men and woman of the sqaudron."

I have let MATT know about all the thoughts and prayer. I talked to him again tonight and he just seems lost as he said they all are.
This will take time and they are dealing with it as a squadron and individually.

It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but I hope the families of these sailors can find comfort in knowing they were a special breed and that there are so many families that are out here to support them in their time of loss.

Yes, my son at Pensacola had heard about it minutes after the fact. Some things he mentioned really worried me becasue he will be on such helicopters as a rescue swimmer before too long. My prayers for the families and loved ones of those tragically lost in this accident.
