Hello everybody. It was great to see our son return from IRAQ this passed week.
Everybody was yelling and waving American flags and banners. Children right down to infants were dressed in red, white , and blue.:woohoo:
I spotted him as soon as he got off the bus. Boy it was great to hug him he didn't want to let me go and neither did I. But of course I had to let the rest of the family hug him to. He was excited that his 72 year old grandma was their. This is her first grandson to go in the service and return from going to a war torn country.
We got to spend the rest of the week with him and then we had to leave to come home. But it was great. Thanks so much to my Navy family here for getting me through these past 7 months. God Bless all of our Servicemen and women. He will be able to take some leave in June and come home.

I can only imagine how it felt to see him get off that bus!!!

I have watched homecomings on TV - they show the story behind the service person and their arrival home. I cry everytime I see one of the shows. I can't even think about how it must feel if you are there.

I am so glad he is back - hope this month passes quickly and he will be home.
Kudos to you, your family and especially your son!!!!
