PIR parking pass

I forgot the parking pass at home!!! I had put it on my fridge weeks ago so I wouldn't forget it, ironic huh? So I went to the Visitor's center to get another one. We took a number and waited our turn then when we asked them about it, they said it wasn't necessary to have a parking pass for PIR. In fact, the next day nobody mentioned it at all. So, if you have more than one car in your party or you forgot your own pass, don't worry, it's not needed after all!

Hope that saves you the panic I experienced when I suddenly realized I had forgotten it!

Also they were searching EVERY car so be prepared for a long line!

Yeah, we got in line at 6:45 and didn't get into the drill hall until 8:30. I am so glad we didn't leave any later than we did from the hotel! We were also told that ALL cars were being searched but I sat beside a lady who said they weren't. So, go figure! Who knows, all I know is that I'm so glad we were able to get seats in the bottom section of bleachers. Jonbearsmom did not :frown:
