My daughter while on DEP has been working at the recruiting station after school and on weekends. When I went to go get her one day the Chief pulls me into their supply room and told me to go "shopping". I got a couple (several) of those, several other bumper stickers, mouse pads, pens, lanyards(SP), coffee mugs, travel mugs, cups and lapel pins. If you'd like, I'll send you one or you can go to the Navy recruiting station in your area (I'm assuming) and request one or .... more, like I did.

We got one when our son was in DEP as well, but how wonderful that you got to go 'shop'. I wish I could have done that. The only time we were at our son's recruiting office was when he shipped out for Boot Camp.

We are actually over there (the recruiting station) often - in fact the guys call me know with cookie orders for the next time I come visit. Then, when I bring them in goodies they take them next door and show them off to the Air Force, Marine and Army recruiters and tease them and say "don't you wish you had quality recruit moms like the Navy does?" It pretty funny.

I also have that bumper sticker. I tucked it in between the glass and frame of a picture I have in my kitchen. My son gave it to me when he was in DEP. Its been hanging there ever since. I know everybody sees it there when they come in my kitchen!

I had that one too when Christopher was in DEP. But it is soooo pretty and I really loved it. I need to go over to my recruiting office and see if I can talk them into letting me go shopping. LOL Lisa

Last night my daughter brought home a new cling (for your car window). It has an eagle with the word NAVY in red, white and blue (representing the flag). Those are pretty cool looking - check that out too while you are there.

i have the car cling on my back window! i love it
