Kristie -- Guess Who I Got a Letter From????

Hi Kristie, Just wanted you to know that when I checked my mail today I had a nice little surprise -- a letter from your Jennifer!!! When I first saw the letter and the way it was addressed, I thought it was a letter from son --- it took me back!!!
How sweet of her to write to me. Well, now to the real nitty gritty....to say the least, SHE SOUNDED GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Very upbeat and happy. She says her RDC's are great -- how often do you hear that!!! She said that all the yelling doesn't bother her. She told me about her being a Seaman Apprentice and how all of her paperwork came in and went through. Kristie, overall the letter was very upbeat, she sounds so happy, and she seems like such a nice girl. I know that you must be aweful proud --- you've done good Mom, you've done good!!! I continue to keep her in my prayers and you too! I know that you cannot wait to see her......it won't be long!

Awww.......Thank you Melanie for sharing that with me...that made me cry.....she is so sweet and special....and I am so very proud of her....

She is the best daughter anyone could ever ask for but unfortunately I cannot take the credit in raising her....her real mom left her and her brother with her dad when she was only 18 months old so her dad (THE most wonderful Godly man I have ever known) gets all the credit here...he raised both of them by himself....

I did not have the HONOR of becoming her mom until she was 14....

Wow, well I have to agree with Melanie you all have done a great job, so you will have to tell him what a good job he has done to start off with. She seems to really have her act together.
