Just wanted to let you know received letter today from Brandon - was more upbeat in this letter then the last one. I will refresh your memory, remember he did not pass his 2nd running test, was bummed out, was put in the FIT division, was bored, and was homesick - and to top it off - just wanted to get the heck out of there.

Bran's letter was much more positive, was getting alot of exercising, did a little better on run last week - still not up to standards yet, but he will. Said he was hanging in there, so far he was still surviving. He did say there are a few things that are good that have come out of this, he apparently lost some weight (really didn't need to) and he said "his body doesn't hurt anymore, due to all the exercising."

He still can't wait to get out of there and of course, all his family can't wait to see him once he goes to Pensacola. He is so ready to get away from Great Lakes he probably could fly down there without an airplane.

So overall he seems to have lifted his spirits quite a bit - which is a good thing, Mom was freakin out from the previously letter.

He is receiving mail again - now, he knows he has not been forgotten!!

Wanted to thank all the Navy Moms that offered to write to Bran and to the ones that sent him a note - it is very much appreciated from this Navy Mom and I know Bran also appreciated it.

Thanks for all your support.
