Pennsylvania Gulf War Veterans Due Bonuses
Week of April 02, 2007

The first bonus payments to Persian Gulf War veterans by the State of Pennsylvania should come by the end of this year or early in 2008. More than 30,000 veterans are expected to apply. The bonus will be $75 for each month of active service in the Gulf theater of operations from Aug. 2, 1990, to Aug. 31, 1991, up to a maximum of $525. The sum of $5,000 will be paid on behalf of veterans who died in service in the Persian Gulf theater or as a result of service-connected wounds, diseases or injuries sustained during active service there. I know me either...My hubby would get 525.00.
Like I said I hope they do that in MI also...

Think thats bad listen to this one....like I said hubby got out in 92.

He has just got apporoved for his VA benifits. Has already had one knee surgery for issues related to military service.(we already paid for that one out of pocket)

Something told me to try another time right now...because of all the stuff going with VA. Low and behold guess what he had an appointment last friday..they gave him meds and said if that didn't help they would have to do surgery on the other knee. Called him yesterday asked if everything was still ok and what not....
Before we could not get though the door, now they are issuing him a ID and everything!! Go Figure!

So anyone out there thats been denied VA now is the time to take action again...maybe you might get as lucky as we have been this last time!!
