Wow much to my amazement I recieved 2 letters today!! Honestly did not think we would get anymore
1st letter:
Yes schooling is first MS then its off to CT for submarine
training. Started to invest in a retirement fund only 4% right now, but I plan to bump it up once I figure out my pay better. Also started an allotment to credit union at home 150.00 a month for now.
Should graduate on time, so far. I am starting to look better!! Making some good friends, drills are not bad. although some are still having problems marching..
Did live fire and got Sharpshooter and a ribbon. I was 6 points off expert, no biggy!! Gas chamber is coming and Battle stations.
All is fine Mom, I miss you most!! Thanks for writing Mom even if I dont!!

Oh yeah!!! 13 more days!!! Cant wait to see ya. Went to gas chamber last week it was pretty CRAZY, that stuff burns bad.
Sorry Mom I did not write last week. I missed mail call because of Ships Staff, but I'm doing good. Might get paygrade raise before I leave here because of ships staff, just to let ya know.
Should be plenty of room for people to come here that weekend usually have 15 divisions graduate but we only have 9. I dont know how all that works though. Yes graduation is getting closer and training is getting a bit easier, and I'm getting excited. Cant wait to see everyone!!!
