I like this. I've been thinking "What is he doing at boot camp?"

:) Now I know. And for some odd reason, reading it made the time feel shorter. Until I fall back into reality and realize that the time isn't flying by like everyone says it will. It's only been 6 days since he left!! lol

Hey ProudNavyGirlfriend,
My husband left for bootcamp 5 weeks ago and it seems like it's been an eternity. I told DallasNavyWife (i think that's her screenname) that people will say it's gonna fly and for the first month it didnt for me. However, I heard from my husband for the first time over the phone last Monday and it was amazing. I think now that I can say only 3 weeks and 3 days before I see him, time seems to be going by much quicker. It's slow in the beginning, well it was for me...but now, days are flying. I think it's because the end is in sight. Just stay as busy as you possibly can, get another job if you have to to pay off those debts:)!!! It helps to keep every minute of the day full until you can go to sleep and continue with the next day. Just keep writing letters, the first few weeks you will receive them once a week from him. This past week, week 5 I got letters on two different days from Adam. I actually received a letter on Valentine's Day which let me know he was here in spirit!!! You'll pull through, I promise. But I'm glad to know this is the hardest part bc it's not fun!!! Take care.

Haha, thank you! :)

It has been dragging by so slowly... I want it over with! Lol. But I am keeping busy as I can so I don't think too much about it.

I know how you feel now. He just left yesterday and will be in boot camp proper tomorrow sometime. This helps me feel a little better and feel closer to him!
