another NP mom

Just want to say I LOVE this site!!!! I came over from NP also. This is an awesome forum. I belong to a couple other sites but think I will be a regular here.

My son is a Nuke and just received his orders for Hawaii. He will be on the sub USS Santa Fe. It is in overhaul right now in New Hampshire so he won't get to Hawaii until Jan. He just got married this month so they are sending her on to Hawaii in May, while he goes to NH.

I'm from Ohio. (GO OHIO STATE BUCKEYES) and look forward to getting to know all of you and your sailors. :smile:

Hi Everyone,

My friend Peggy just told me about this site so here I am. My name is Marcia and my sailor is Adam. Adam just returned from the gulf last week with his ship and is now back in San Diego where he is stationed. He is a 3rd Class Petty Officer and and an Electronics Technician on the USS Benfold. He droppped by last night to show us his new car a bright yellow Lexus Coupe, very cute and fully loaded. I guess he saved all his money while deployed. I live only an hour from SD so he can drop by on weekends when he is off duty. I am married for almost 25 years and have a daughter who is 23 and my sailor is 21. We travel a lot for business and we own our own company so that keep me very busy. Well thats enough about me. I look forward to meeting everyone and getting to know you all.
