Curiosity, one leaves in May other July, If my math is right PIR for #1 child is July 27, can you take #2 child with you and stay there till day they are supposed to arrive,or take them all the way back home then ship the out to meps.
Less than a week between one's PIR and other one's leaving. WOW

Unfortunatley they won't let us do that. We asked if we could take our daughter to Great Lakes with us and keep her there until she is to "show up" for boot camp. The answer was no. So, she will get to see a preview of PIR and Great Lakes the week before she leaves. With that said, she is now looking into changing jobs and changing when she leaves - she has got that "I want out of the house and on with my life" attitude. So she may be leaving earlier than we originally thought, which could also make things interesting. Needless to say, I will see alot of Great Lakes this summer! :eek:
