Hi all,
I'm Allie, my boyfriend/fiance has been at bootcamp for almost a month and it has been really tough. With our anniversary coming up tomorrow and no way of talking to him I finally decided to reach out to others to chat about what I'm going through with other people who are going through the same thing.

Congrats on the anniversary but also on your fiance being in bootcamp. My husband is in bootcamp right now, its not an easy thing but just make sure you write him lots of letters. Since it is sunday maybe you will get a phone call, I usally get mine on Sundays.

He said in his last letter that he probably won't be able to call for another two weeks. He hasn't been able to call yet. I do get a letter every Thursday so I hope I will get a happy anniversary letter this week.

make sure you tell him how proud of him you are and write encouraging things. Send him pics also. I sit down and write my husband every night even if I do not have anything new to talk about I just repeat myself. He says he doesnt care he just enjoys reading them, that is all they have.

I make sure I write him as much as I can. He left with only one picture so I got copies of some pictures of his friends and family and cat and sent those out to him. I'm just greatful that his graduation falls over thanksgiving so I'll be able to see him then.
