I got letters today

Yes can you believe it...2 of them!!

He says all is well...one dated the 4th says one of his RDC's was trying to get him azmoded(sp) or pushed back...but says the chief likes him, an chief is the one that put him on Ship's Staff
I have talked to him since, so I take it the Azmod(sp) did not happen.

He asks about things like if our dog already had her puppies?,
and if its warm yet?
Funny just asks about everyday things... Thanks everyone for the letters.
Thats always first, and says sorry he is not writing more.
Hopefully I found another parent to talk to...
could tell him I have many..lol

well all is good now for another week!!

Me too, I got a letter today and he called. I haven't talked to him since he left on 2/27 and he called today for 20 minutes.

I feel like a weight has lifted off and I'm so happy! He's doing good and was going to get his hair cut again.

He sounded upbeat and I just told him how proud I was of him...he also said that he had alot of time to think and he can't wait to see everyone..

I love letters and calls are the best; so I better hold onto this feeling cause I don't know when the next one will come.

So, congratulations on your letters! Guess we've all had a good week.

So, there are at least three of us here who will be attending PIR on Apr.27. We have already made reservations at the Navy Lodge. Even though our son's division is grad and go, we are planning to stay the whole weekend. We'll be driving so we're lucky. Kristie and Dawn, do you know where you'll be staying?

We will be staying at the AmeriSuites in Vernon Hills not to far from the base....we stayed there when Brandon graduated and it was wonderful....it is in a very nice area with lots to do....
