Hi, my name is EmmaLee. I have been on navy-parents.com since Barry shipped out to Great Lakes on January 25, 2007. I just found out about this site today.

We are orginally from New Orleans and have been living in the Houston area for about 13 years.

Barry is our only child. I can't wait to see him next week.

EmmaLee, Welcome. I have been on NP since my son left for BC in April of last year. He is currently boarding a plane in Pensacola to come home on leave. Haven't seen him since August. Can't wait. You'll love your son's PIR it is awesome.

Welcome Emmalee, I'm originally from Baton Rouge -- love that N.O. food! My family is now back in Houston (for the 3rd time!) My son just finished bootcamp last month and is now in Pensacola for his A School which is supposed to start on April 2nd. Glad you joined the NavyCafe.

I am new to this site and was reading posts and saw yours. My son was also in Ship 14 Div 69, PIR 2/2/07. Our son just went to Pcola Thursday for his A school which is susposed to start 4/2 also. He will be going to AE school. What school is your son going to? Blessings
