I post under Foy here and at Navy-Parents.com and under HoyHoy on Military.com.

I'm glad to know of this site. I'd just "discovered" NP about the time my son had PIR in November 06 and was increasingly disappointed at the decline in activity. I think some sociologist is going to have a field day studying the yin and yang of internet forums one day soon.

But I digress. My son is today enjoying his second day of duty at Port Hueneme, CA and I hope to hear from him again soon. He's with NMCB 4 and is very pumped up about that.

welcome I was new to np found it about a week or so ago...now it seems everyone is here...I love the group of people there, very nice and helpful. I was telling everyone I encountered about it, now it seems I must tell them about this one...lol.!!

Hi Foy, we have conversed quite a bit about NCS. Your son is quite close to where I live, well a hour or so away. My son is on his way home on leave and I am staying busy here so I don't go crazy.
