I filled out that paperwork for Top Secret clearance. Due to owning a house and some other debt I was denied the clearnace at the moment. It is something we are working on and when we sell our house it won't be that 50% ratio anymore. I told my wife it is what it is, but she says there has got to be some sort or waiver or appeal on the debt for the clearance.

I kind of don't think there is, so I am just thinkin in the future I will be able to qualify for it. She thinks there is. Does anyone know if you can appeal that process for anything on the Clearance side of things, and if so what type of process you can go about it. Thanks!

yea theres no waiver or appeal for a clearance.. its one of those you qualify or you dont lol. However, when your eventually interviewed they ask you all about it. tell them you are selling/sold your house and your doing your best to get out of the ratio..
unfortunately its not guarunteed you will get it until after years of solid decision making.
