Delay in Getting Service Papers

Hey all just needing to vent - Alyssa graduated MA School on 03/07/07 - she was suppose to come on the 8th but here it is a week later and she still not home. We have changed her flight home three times until last night when I finally cxld it until she gets her papers. This is getting really agravating as she is wanting to come before leaving for Italy. She keeps getting told different things - one says the papers on on their way the next one says could be tomorrow or next week.

I just don't get it - how is it a class graduated yesterday and 95% of them had their orders and were off - yet Alyssa is still waiting. Very frustrating.

Any suggestions or reasons why this happens? Just wanting her to come home before being off to Italy for two years.

Like I said just need to vent - I know she will be home soon just want it to be now.

This happened to a mom whose son is a MA and he was being sent to Bahrain. He waited a week for his papers. My son, who is also a MA, were a day late and we had to change his flight. I can't even imagine how tough it is to know you could be spending time with her and can't. Hope they come soon and you will still have at least two weeks with her. Keep us posted and I will add it to my prayers.

THANK YOU all for the support - Great to find fellow MA parents to chat with. Alyssa is so frustrated as am I and I try so hard to be positive when I am on the phone with her to keep her spirits up. She just wants to come home and can't seem to get here. I am hoping for a phone call today or this weekend telling me to put her on the next flight. Maybe all our positive thoughts will make it happen.
