You and I are showing our age again ... they are called RDC's now ... Recruit Division Commanders :eterollll:.

A rose by any other name .... still has a "prick" involved somehow !!

Not so sure the RDC's of today have the teeth of our CC's ...

Cheers,

Never! My CC was a FCC who appeared to be several hundred years old. Also had a female BMC. I personally thought the BMC had it out for me personally.

Everytime I screwed up, she seemed to be always hovering around nearby...

Although, after our PIR, both were very respectful of their new sailors.

My primary CC had a habit of saying "Aaight" (southern for alright) ..... being the goof that I was at the time, I thought this salty old Popeye looking sailor was saying "AYE" .... I thought maaaannnnn .... how goofy is that ??

A night of PT with the SEALs clued me in to not make fun of my CC !!!

The FCC is the one that asked me, after finding out that I was in the Army, if an Army DI was as tough as the Navy CC? He didn't appreciate my answer and as a result, I was pushing the floor until he got tired of watching me. He would give me a 5 minute break, but I was in the front and leaning rest position for at least 25 or 30 minutes.

Not fun. Open mouth, insert foot.....
