Hey my bf is in bootcamp right now it's ALMOST the halfway point, then comes his schooling, leave, then his job. I know all of this, but I don't know details, what to expect, how I can live with him... i'm still very confused as to everything to come. If someone has gone through this and could give me some pointers and advice that'd be great!

We are currently engaged and b/c we have only been dating for 7 months i wanted to live w/ him for a year or two before we got married officially, but if we need to do a contractual marriage in order to be together we are both ready for that as well. Just a heads up on our status.

Well i dont know a whole lot but my boyfriend is in boot camp as well and we hve been together bouta year. We talk about this al the time. In order to live on base with him and get benefits and things im almost 100% positive you all have to be married. Im pretty sure that once he gets out of A school is soon after that he will find out where his base and everything should be. Hope i helped a lil:)

In order for you to live with him you guys have to be married. unless he is e4 or above, and since he's in bootcamp, he's not lol.

yeah if you do get married he makes a lil extra cash on the upside. not to sound superficial .. but it is a upside and you can live together :)

Hi all, im new to this site :)

I am a little worried...my boyfreind and I were emailing 2 days ago, (him from his ship ) then right in the middle of our email convo, he stops emailing and its probably just that the email was down on the ship as that happens sometimes. This was 2 days ago and I havent heard from him since. He told me he was going to pick up his cell phone from the shop because it was in for repair and he always does what he says he is going to do..very reliable loving guy.
He is scheduled to leave on a mission soon, and now i am worried maybe i havent heard from him because either something happened to him or maybe he got sent on the mission earliar then he thought without time to notify me??!!! I dont know im so worried:confused::confused:
any advice any pros can give me or someone who is in a similar situation?
I dont know what to think...
