Good Luck and best wishes on your next 8-9 weeks. We will think of you often, and miss you alot.
The next few weeks will be tough but you can do it, just like you beat me in Tetris.
Enjoy your last day at home, and hopefully everyone will get a chance to post their goodbye's before you leave.

Well.....she is there safe and sound.....got our 2 second call about 10 pm last night....it sure has been harder seeing her go than it was with her brother last July.....lol.....

She said she is fine and it was not that bad.....but she has not really gotten to the rough stuff yet....

Sorry I have not been online much lately...things have really been crazy and have not been able to log in at work.....

Krisite,
Good to hear from you and so glad to know that Jennifer has made it to GL safely. Once you get her ship/division numbers please post them -- some of us would like to send her mail --My son just had his PIR on 2/2/07, while at bc he loved getting lots of mail. And be sure to give us updates when you hear from her. I know what you mean about seeing them leave you -- it's hard. I'm still having a tough time with it. My son is 18, and it just feels so wierd to not have him closer -- he's in Pensacola right now getting ready to start his A School in a few weeks. I have 2 younger daugthers 15 & 12 who keep me pretty busy - thank goodness! Thanks again for posting.

I will be posting her address just as soon as I have it.....and I know letters are just the best thing while there....everytime we talked to Brandon he just begged for pictures....so we sent them everytime we send a card or letter....

Her brother is about to go to his first ship and has been gone since last July and it is still hard for me.....just really hard know that they will never again live at home...Jennifers dad said last night that he wanted to yell to her as we were leaving....you don't have to go....just live here forever and you don't have to get a job.....lololol....he has it really bad right now.....

Jennifer leaving made me cry and realize that my son leaving in July is going to be harder than I thought it would be, and definetly not that far away.
I'm glad she got there o.k.
We are looking forward to hearing how she is doing, and we are planning on writing to her.
