View Full Version : We are heading to Norfolk today to pick up our Navy boy!

Leaving in about 30 minutes, ship comes in soon and he will get to come home for Christmas and stall till Jan 3rd. It's been a very tought year on him and he needs the break to clear his head.

Very good ..... tell him thank you and wish him a Merry Christmas for us. Nothing like a little down-time to recharge the batteries.

We had a good visit but man how do you get these navy people to STOP spending money they don't have??? While he was here he applied for a car loan at the credit union...how do we know....we got the rejection letter.

Drives me CRAZY......

he applied through navy fed? cuz they are pretty lenient as long as you have a decent history with them

There rate's are not good either. My son got a better rate at our UAW Credit Union than the Navy Fed.

Hehehe ... did you surprise him with the letter ??

We got one for my oldest a while back and blew his mind when we started talking about him applying for loans .. he didn't even think about them sending a letter to the address he listed :rolleyes::rolleyes:.
