Hi,
Just wondered if anyone is planning to get this vaccine? I went and got my seasonal flu shot today but I'm really not sure about the other one. I know my daughter is in the high risk group being under 24 but I'm not sure about giving it to her either, I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this vaccine.

the vaccine has been tested over and over again. Its also been made mandatory for active duty service members. No matter what people think, the military aren't just "guinnea pigs" for the vaccine to be testing.. If that was true and the whole military came down with it, I guess we might as well send a personal escort to terrorists doors with a welcome letter. I have gotten this vaccine, and was just fine from it. I felt a little wierd for 2 or 3 days but after that was back in shape good to go. Now the regular flu vacine, that put me out for a week. I was really sick.

I got mine about a month ago. Was one of the first to get it in our area.
Hubby came and got his about 2 weeks ago.
Our Dr gave it to his kids too. No one had any problems with the injection.
just stay away from the nasal stuff.
We have given about 125 injections of the stuff so far. No problems in our office.
got it last friday, felt a little tired for a couple days, then was fine.
