So my recruiter told me there is a good possibility I'll be leaving in about two weeks! That came as a shocker but a nice one, as I've been sitting here wondering what the crap I'm gonna do for 5 more months! I won't have the holidays with my family if I do go but it'll be well worth it. (I DEP'd in a week ago!)
In other's experience, when a DEPper is notified of possibly leaving soon - is that really about 99.8% a sure thing? I hope sooo! If not, then I have a longer while to get in better shape.
I'm just so excited, and scared, and happy, and terrified, and elated!
Oh, shoot! I must learn the Orders and the Creed ASAP!

A couple of people requested to go earlier than their assigned date, and they got it promptly. So, it seems to me that it would be a pretty good bet that you are going!

you guys would probably never recognize eachother even if you did meet unless you were in the same division. the same division has PLENTY of talking time during all of bootcamp. Just say hey is anybody going secf etc etc.
you will talk a bit with your brother division as well...
and some other recruits if nobody is watching :P

Haha. I might think no one is watching and yet I would most likely be wrong, no extra consequences plz! :{
Being quiet when you're supposed to is one thing I'm sure I won't have any problems with. :)
I'll have to put a pic up hurr pretty soon...

you guys are over thinking it a bit trust me. you will be really scared the first week or 2, then you will get used to it. Kind of like culture shock. and nights is when most of the talking is done hah.
