Well, I'm glad and relieved to know there is site which supports our needs. I am a Husband to a soon to be Navy Mother of our 2 beautiful children. My wife want to join the Navy and I give her my full support, dont know what the following days, months, years will bring, but we will face them head on as they come. My wife just took her test and scored well, she is scheduling her MEP and were pretty sure that will go well too. So for now that what were doing together her and I. I am feelign so proud...

We have together 3 children, her first she will give Temporary Gaurdianship to her Father, because the Navy will not allow more than 3 dependants, so she is filing a new suit. We hope she will lift the temp suit and that it will not be a problem as soon as she is allowed to.

I will stay here in Texas as we have just financed our first home, The Navy says there will be a Home Seperation bonus and dependant credit or bonus, but we dont know in detail what that means.

She scored well on the test and she has been given the lists of jobs, she has found interest in HM and several others. she is glowing I love it.

If anyone has input we would love to recieve it, the do's , the don'ts, what we may not have been told, the benifits and financial opportunities if any.

I work in the oild field service, so far for we have been blessed financially, so with that I know what my wife does is for her gain, bless her heart GOD.

Pretty cool ...

Can I ask what is the driving reason that she wants to join the Navy ?? Sounds like something that she wanted to do for a while now.

Cheers,

Mostly she has being in ROTC, though her mother has had a few problems health wise and life grabbed a hold on my wife while she was still young in high school. Together her and I have had desire for millitary but circunstances always got in our way. My wife expressed her disire to me not to long ago on enlisting in the Navy, so we weighed the pro's and con's and for us the pro's out weighed the con's. My wife has expressed 3 reason to enlist.1. She want to feel her life heading a good direction, selfesteem, and acomplishment.2. She want a career. 3. She want to provide for her Family. I knew then that all our labor, arguments over silly stuff, time, hope, and love was truely God given because we had never felt united even withthe knowlegde of her leaving to the NAVY. Please pray for us.

Fair enough ... all are excellent reasons to join. She will make a fine Sailor because her heart is in it.

Too many people join soley to get the college money, as a dare ... or to keep from going to jail.

When I hear reasons like these .... that is when I know that this person will be a success in the military.

Keep us posted on how she does ...
